Meet the team

Nicole, wearing glasses and a black 'The Women's Wellbeing Club' t-shirt, smiles while writing on a black chalkboard wall. The words 'The Women's Wellbeing Club' are elegantly handwritten with a heart symbol beneath them. She holds a white marker in one hand, standing in a warmly lit space.

Why the women's wellbeing club

The idea of The Women's Wellbeing Club began as Nicole, our founder, struggled with her own hormonal symptoms for several years battling with skin issues, cycle management and stress, in amongst navigating corporate life. After working with different coaches herself, and trying to dig deeper, there was nothing and no one out there to help and support women at all stages of life, with the knowledge and education to back it up.

The whole objective for TWWC is to enable women to make informed and educated decisions about their bodies and their lives. What started as a small women's fitness community has now grown into something far beyond what we could have imagined. Not only do we support women on a 1:1 basis with specific goals, and vitally understanding what is going on in their bodies and why, but we now offer courses to other coaches in female health, alongside workplace training in women's health and wellbeing. Again, there is a huge misunderstanding and lack of funding across the board when it comes to women's health, and we are here to bridge that knowledge and implementation gap.

The gap that needed to be filled

In 2022, Nicole decided to gain some fitness qualifications for her own sanity during the dreaded lockdown alongside her corporate job in product management. But this is where the missing pieces of the puzzle were so obvious. The lack of women's health support in the workplace, partnered with the non-existent touch points of female health in any standard fitness and health qualification is shocking. Put this side by side with an ADHD neurodivergent brain and the rabbit hole of wanting to understand the why's and how's of female health opened.

TWWC has been built from real-life insights of working in the corporate space for over 10 years and in several large organisations, watching women day in day out struggling with things like:

Work-life balance

Understanding of when and what they should do and eat to help their energy levels throughout the day

Fitness, strength and overall health and wellbeing

Fertility and other chronic conditions and symptoms

Mental resilience and having the self belief to go after their own goals

Hormonal changes around their cycle and through the menopausal transition

Armed with a vision and a lot of determination to help more women in the best way possible, and after a few years of teaching in person, online workshops, female health, anatomy, blood-work and menopause certifications, oh and a masters…
